Location Photobook: promoting yourself wherever.

Lola wanted to create a photobook for her own purposes. However, she wanted something different. Not just a studio setup; she wanted to use natural light and the stunning surroundings of her home to create the best images. A location photobook was my suggestion.

With this in mind, I suggested she could have both indoor and outdoor shots to make her look her best  in any environment. The wonderful afternoon light in the Rhône Alpes area combined with things like a wonderful bamboo grove in the garden provided the perfect surroundings to achieve her goals.

The backdrop of the hills, lush greens, spring flowers and plants made for a good combination with Lola’s blond hair and fair complexion. Warmed by the suns light and the simple use of silver and gold reflectors.

As the afternoon progressed, we moved to the mobile studio to create some more traditional shots which will appeal to the modelling world as well.

The session provided for a nice combination of both colour and black and white photographs, a selection of which can be seen here.

It was a fun session with Lola completely at ease so she could relax in front of the camera and just shine. Enjoy looking at them and please leave your feedback if you wish.
